These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Pearls of Love, an SMS subscription service operated by Cor Monadum (“we,” “us,” “our”), a sole proprietorship registered in Ontario, Canada.
By subscribing to Pearls of Love, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t subscribe.
1. The Service
Pearls of Love delivers one short written passage by SMS text message per day to subscribers, sent at a time of your choosing (11:11, 1:44, 6:39, etc, in your local timezone). Message content is original creative writing provided for reflection, encouragement, and personal enjoyment.
2. SMS Program Terms (required disclosure)

Message frequency: Recurring, 1 message per day
Cost: Msg & data rates may apply. Subscription fees are billed separately through our payment processor (see Section 4).
Opt-in: You consent to receive these messages by checking the consent box on our signup page and providing your phone number. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
Opt-out: Reply STOP to any message at any time to unsubscribe. You will receive one confirmation message and no further texts.

Carriers: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and the owner or authorized user of the phone number you provide to subscribe.
4. Billing and Subscriptions
Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly, 6-month, or annual, as selected at signup) through Stripe, our third-party payment processor. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard or by contacting support. Cancelling billing does not automatically stop text messages — reply STOP to the SMS number separately to end message delivery, and cancel your subscription to stop billing.
Refunds are provided at our discretion. Generally, we do not offer refunds for partial billing periods, but refunds may be available within 7 days of an initial charge if requested.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to harass, resell, or redistribute content without permission, or to provide a phone number you are not authorized to use.
6. Intellectual Property
All passages, text, and creative content delivered through Pearls of Love are the original work of Cor Monadum and may not be reproduced, redistributed, or used commercially without written permission.
7. Disclaimer
Pearls of Love provides content for reflection and personal enjoyment. It is not medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a licensed professional or local emergency services.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cor Monadum is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
